The Kitagata Hot Springs are something like a local hospital, with hundreds of “patients” coming from around the country to soak in the healing waters. The one spring area is even called “Mulago”, which is the national referral hospital in Uganda. For those with stomach problems, water is taken directly from the source and let to cool until it’s a drinkable temperature.
