Nestled in the Bay of Plenty, Kiwifruit Country is run by a family who live and breath kiwi. Stretching for 60 hectares, the orchard is one of the largest in the bay, and evenly divided between Zespri Green and Gold kiwifruit. On a 45 minute guided tour, you’ll walk beneath the vines in the orchard to learn about the growth cycle and production of this superfruit, all while enjoying spectacular views from atop the plateau. At the end of the tour, you’ll be able to sample the nutritious and delicious Kiwifruit, and peruse the Kiwifruit Country Store, which has some unique products like Kiwi chutney and hot sauce.
