Enjoy a pleasant boat ride on this river that worked its way through a mountain.
The Kong Lor Cave is one of Southeast Asia’s geological wonders - a 7 kilometer long subterranean network formed by the Nam Hin Bun River cutting its way through an entire mountain. Local villagers still use the cave as a shortcut when transporting goods, and believe the emerald-green pool in one of the recesses is sacred. Visitors can enjoy a ride through the tunnels, some of which are narrow passages, some towering chambers, with a local boatman. Along the way, they often pull ashore, giving the opportunity to spelunk on foot.
