Pristine waters from an underground hotspring cascade through a beautiful forest to form a series of vibrantly colored pools.
The stunning Krabi Emerald Pool is fed by pure spring water, making it the area’s most popular swimming hole - and it’s just one part of this vibrant jungle experience! Hiking through the Khao Nor Chu Chi forest, you’re treated to views of a unique aquatic ecosystem, where spring water flows through hundred of species of tropical plants in a series of clear small pools, waterfalls, and streams. The forest and is also home to rare animals, including the endangered Gurney’s Pitta bird, which was thought to be extinct until it was rediscovered in 1986. After enjoying the waters of the Emerald Pool, you can continue into the forest to soak in thermal hot springs, which have formed their own natural hot-tubs known as the ‘Krabi Cascade’. Also nearby is the brilliant ‘Blue Pool’, which is vibrantly coloured and crystal clear - just don’t try to swim in it: it’s scorching hot and surrounded by quicksand.
