This green space on the edge of a watershed offers a variety of outdoor activities on the outskirts of bustling Quezon City.
Sitting on the border of the La Mesa Watershed Reservation, the La Mesa Eco Park is the result of extensive renovation work thanks to the "Save La Mesa Watershed Project". Now, the 33 hectare park provides the public with an escape from the urban bustle of Quezon City. Along with providing a pleasant place to walk, the park offers a range of other activities including biking, horseback riding, rappelling, and fishing. There’s also a butterfly garden where you can enjoy nature’s most delicate and graceful creatures. To cap off your visit, there’s a large number of food vendors selling everything from the country’s famous “dirty ice cream” to freshly grilled fish.
