Lake Braies is a small Alpine lake that was formed during a landslide which blocked the river Braies. The natural lake is encompassed by the Dolomite peaks and many acres of surrounding forest. Its natural scenery paired with exquisite turquoise-blue waters make this virtually unknown gem a sight worth seeing. Trail along the lake circle or rent a rowboat and picnic along the river. Lake Braies' many hiking trails also make it the ideal spot for hikers, bikers, and climbers alike.
