Surrounded by abundant vegetation, Lake Nkuruba is a hotspot for all the monkeys in the area. Black-and-white Colobuses, Red Colobuses and Vervets are the main species of monkeys to be found here, but if you are lucky you may also spot the larger Green Monkey (tame enough to get up close and personal and snap some photos!). The monkeys can be heard from afar as their screams echo through the forest; combined with the tweets of the many bird species in the area, the enchanting sounds of Lake Nkuruba are bound to take you to a place of relaxation and peace.
