A narrow entrance opens up spacious chamber filled with beautiful formations - and minimal lighting.
The Lawa Cave is tucked away in the jungle just a stone’s throw from the Khawe Noi River. After climbing the stairs to the narrow entrance, visitors are rewarded with spacious chambers within, each with names like the music chamber, the throne chamber, and the curtain chamber because of their fantastic cave formations. On the ceiling, you’re likely to see the resident colony of bats. The cave was kept as natural as possible, meaning the walking path isn’t always even, and the lighting in the cave kept to a minimum so as to not spoil its beauty. Please note: a flashlight and appropriate footwear are strongly recommended.
