One of the largest waterfalls in Victoria, this cascade is also the only one in the park that flows year-round.
The iconic MacKenzie Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in Victoria and is sure to impress anyone on dry land. The rushing water cascades over a rocky escarpment and encounters sharp outcroppings on its way down to create millions of misty rainbows. For the grand finale, the dazzling falls meet an inky black pool below. Visitors can reach the MacKenzie Falls viewing platform after a short one-kilometer. The viewing platform is wheelchair accessible. For a closer look, a 30-minute hike down a steep trail and 260 steps places you at the base of the falls. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes if you’d like to descend to the bottom.
