The Mallalieu Motor Collection, curated by owner Bill Mallalieu, showcases a remarkable collection of classic cars for enthusiasts and curious visitors alike. Among the prized vehicles are some of the rarest, such as the '53 Daimler, a true gem with only thirty-two remaining worldwide. The standout star of the collection is an unparalleled 1947 Bentley, custom-made for Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands and raced in the '49 Monte Carlo Rally. Another remarkable Bentley, dubbed 'A Mallalieu,' was handcrafted by Durham 'Derry' Mallalieu, boasting an extraordinary tale of craftsmanship. The assortment also features a 1953 Daimler Roadster, one of only 54 produced, and a Volvo 1225, a 1963 model that achieved record-breaking feats in rally competitions. Bill Mallalieu's passion for vintage cars is ever-evolving, as he continues to acquire more vehicles that tell unique stories. The museum, beyond being a repository of automotive heritage, embodies the joy of sharing one's passion with others.
