The Malta Aviation Museum in Ta’Qali comprises three hangars full of fascinating exhibits, with a particular focus on the Second World War and post-war eras. Take the opportunity to admire and explore a remarkable collection of restored aircraft, including iconic World War II-era planes such as the Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX, Hawker Hurricane Mk IIa, and the airworthy de Havilland Tiger Moth. One of the museum's prized displays is a Hawker Hurricane that was salvaged from the seabed in 1995 and meticulously restored to its former glory, offering a glimpse into the island's wartime heritage. As a living and working museum, the Malta Aviation Museum has cultivated extensive expertise in aircraft restoration, ensuring the preservation of Malta's rich aviation legacy.
