Montenegro
The beautifully landscaped park and pristine beaches make this royal resort one of the most picturesque places in Montenegro.
A favourite holiday destination for the royal family, in 1934, the royal family of Serbia founded the exclusive resort town of Milocer, parts of which have been opened to visitors. The central chateau, which has housed the President of Montenegro, celebrities, and the rich and famous looks out over a manicured park, white sand beach, and stunning blue waters of the Adriatic. The park is landscaped in the French style, and framed by stone arches. Bursting with vegetation, Mediterranean pine trees are mixed with rare and exotic plants imported from America, Asia and Africa, such as Lebanese cedar, Japanese medlar, magnolia, agave that grow here naturally. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the beautiful promenade, lined with olives and cypresses, before heading the 500 meters to see the world famous island-hotel "Sveti Stefan", the most photographed place in Montenegro.
