Australia
This easy walking trail showcases the beauty of Australia's coast, topped off with a bit of history.
The Mimosa Rocks Track is a short and easy walk down a paved path and boardwalk that winds its way along a boulder-filled cove - relics of the area's volcanic past. Along the way, you'll cross over a large aboriginal midden, which has a signpost shedding light on the area's history and significance. At the very end of the boardwalk, you'll reach a viewpoint overlooking the rocky coast. The large, pyramid-shaped rock on the other side of the peninsula is where the area's name comes from - the paddle steamer Mimosa sank there in 1863.
