The town of Neum is situated along Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Adriatic coastline and is surrounded by steep hills and sandy beaches. Neum’s Mediterranean weather allows for long, warm summers and short winters. The town starting becoming an attractive tourist destination in the 1950’s. Today, Neum attracts visitors with its beautiful coast, sunny weather, and affordable prices. There are many new and renovated hostels in the area and ample seafood restaurants. The crystal-clear blue sea is ideal for swimming, scuba diving, and snorkeling and keeps an average temperature of 32 degrees celsius in summer.
