Our Lady of Manaoag at Tierra de Maria

Tierra de Maria is a perfectly fitting name for this Marian shrine. At the entrance, a 50-foot-tall statue of the Virgin Mary welcomes visitors with open arms. Inside, the walls of a small garden are lined with beautiful murals depicting the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, the Stations of the Cross and the Life and Sufferings of Jesus. There’s also a small chapel housing more religious iconography, including a replica of the Our Lady of Manaoag statue, where the devout come to pray daily. Visitors can also climb to the top of the statue for panoramic views of the volcanic lake below.
