Along with raising hundreds of crocodiles, this croc farm also houses a slew of Palawan’s more elusive residents.
Opened as a crocodile farm in 1987, the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (PWRCC) now protects both these misunderstood reptiles as well as other animals. Even before the start of the guided tour, visitors can see the skeleton of a 17-foot-long croc, as well as the skull of a sperm whale. From here, you’ll go on to see the crocodile nursery before visiting the enclosures of full-grown behemoths. Along with learning about both salt- and freshwater crocodiles, and the farm’s operations, you’ll see some of Palaman’s indigenous birds, and have the opportunity to wander the semi-wild nature park.
