Supposedly named by Jimmy Hendrix, this desert oasis has been a favourite watering hole since the 60s.
Paradise Valley started gaining attention in the 1960s when hippies from around the world started hanging here. Today, the valley is one of the most popular escapes in inland Agadir, offering dramatic mountain views, palm trees, and swimming. Visitors can hike through the gorge to a number of swimming holes where locals have set up juice stands and beach chairs to refresh visitors. It’s best to visit ‘in season’ when there’s been some rain. Not only are the pools deeper and cooler, but there’s a waterfall at the top of the valley.
