Costa Rica
Costa Rica’s largest and most diverse assembly of reptiles and amphibians is housed in a lush botanical garden.
Parque Reptilandia is home to cold blooded creatures from over 90 species from around the world. Everything from giant crocs, to ancient tortoises, to komodo dragons call the Parque Reptilandia. The large enclosures also provide a safe way to see the country’s colorful poison-dart frogs, and its most venomous snake, the fer-de-lance. Even walking the park is a pleasant experience thanks to being landscaped as a botanical garden. On Fridays, you’ll be able to see a live feeding of the animals, which might not be for the squeamish.
