PheZulu Safari Park

With safari drives, a reptile park, and a cultural village, this park celebrates the natural and cultural diversity of KwaZulu-Natal.

About

The Phezulu Safari Park is a private game reserve nestled in the magnificent Valley of 1,000 Hills where the region’s natural and cultural heritage is preserved. The main attraction is the scenic game drive the park offers every hour. Visitors hop into a comfortable 4x4 to see large animals like blesbok, impala, wildebeest, and giraffe, as well as plenty of birds, smaller animals, and lush flora - all with the invaluable insights of the experienced guide. Meanwhile, at the Phezulu Crocodile and Snake Park, visitors can make some lasting memories with exotic and indigenous reptiles thanks to the oversight of experienced guides. On weekends you’ll be able to see crocodile feeding and snake demonstrations. Then there’s the Phezulu Village, where you can learn about the culture and traditions of the Gasa Clan, and even see a traditional Zulu dance. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, be sure to stop at the park restaurant where you’ll find distinctly South African flavours like a crocodile burger or ostrich steak.
