Modernity meets tradition in this high-altitude winery.
Not to be confused with its sister winery in Mendoza, Piattelli Vineyards opened in 2013, bringing beautiful wines to a beautiful setting. The winery itself is styled after a Tuscan villa, complete with pleasant gardens, all surrounded by the dramatic backdrop of the Andes mountains. On these high-altitude slopes, they carefully cultivate varieties including Malbec, Torrontes, Cabernet, and Tannat, which are then fed into a gravity-flow winery and aged in French oak barrels. The resulting wines are rich and balanced, perfect for sipping on one of the winery’s terraces while you enjoy the view. You can opt to join a guided tour, six wine tasting, or sample ad hoc. The winery is also an excellent stop for lunch, with a menu of local cuisine elevated by a gourmet approach.
