At only 300 meters long, Playa Carrizalillo proves that great things come in small packages. Descend the 160 steps to find golden sands, blue waters, colorful umbrellas, and straw-thatched huts framed by tropical trees. Lounge on the beach, take a drip in the water, or snorkel the colorful coral reef. For budding surfers, you can rent a board (around 150 MXN per hour) or sign up for a lesson with a local (around 500 MXN for 2 hours, including the board) to take advantage of the two beginner-friendly breaks.
