Pordoi Pass is the second highest paved road (after Stella’s Pass) meandering through the Dolomites Alps.
It is a most notable trek for cyclists and as such, there is a heartfelt memorial at the summit of the pass dedicated to the Italian cyclist Fausto Coppi. There is a modern cable car at Pordoi Pass which takes only 4 minutes to climb the beautiful mountain. The breathtaking natural terrace overlooks the Dolomites landscape. You could probably witness climbers along the most beautiful ski slopes and the other major peaks of the Dolomites: Marmolada, Pale di San Martino, Sassolungo, the southern reaches of Ortles, Cevedale, and the Swiss and Austrian Alps.
