On the ride to Pueblo Eden, you begin to see signs warning you to slow down, as it seems this tiny town practices day-long siestas. This sleepy little area of Uruguay is just north of Maldonado, sitting in almost the middle of nowhere. Visit some local markets, or even go horseback riding! Most importantly, come here to relax and take things slow as you wander this Uruguayan sleepy hollow, make sure to visit the only restaurant in town that serves amazing food. More of a cantina style, this little restaurant offers delectable delicacies ranging from lamb and beef, to rabbit....all of them equally delicious!
