The most notable beach is called Paradise Beach; it's clear and shallow waters make it ideal for children. The beach that is most well known is called Sahara Beach for its nudism. Rab pioneered nudism on its beaches after the arrival of its most famous guests then King: Edward VIII and his lover Wallis Simpson. In the beautiful main square one could find the plaque commemorating the day the couple whisked into town. But beyond gossip, Rab is steeped in beautiful red-roofed houses, hidden coves, and the Kalifront Forest. Tour the forest or grab an oar, Rab has plenty to offer.
