This unadulterated slice of jungle preserves Borneo’s natural beauty while letting visitors learn about its diverse ecosystem.
Established in 1996 in collaboration with the State Wildlife Department, the 64 acre Rasa Ria Reserve provides a protected place for Borneo’s native wildlife to thrive. A series of nature trails bring visitors into the jungle to see exotic plants and animals, ranging from giant ants to pit vipers and macaws. Depending on the route you choose, it’s possible to soak in fantastic views of the coast from the lookout, or cross a canopy walkway. Throughout the day, you can also join a guided tour with a park ranger, or special activities like bird watching, to learn more about the native ecosystem.
