This clifftop vantage offers superb views down the coast, and the chance to spot whales and dolphins among the waves.
Situated on the south side of the small town of Evans Head, at the mouth of the Evans River, Razorback Lookout is such a rewarding and convenient place for a break. Right by the sea but 45 metres above it, Razorback Lookout has the perfect vantage point from which to survey the coast line up toward Balina and to gaze out across the Tasman Sea. The viewing platform is easily accessible, including for wheelchairs, and there are picnic, barbecue, and toilet facilities on hand. A pair of binoculars grants you a great opportunity to spot whales and dolphins which often frequent these waters. Access is free, 24 hours, and parking is available.
