Roaring Billy Falls

Take a relaxing 1 km (about 15 minutes- 25 minutes for total return) walk to a beautiful view of the Roaring Billy Waterfall. You will trek through some lush greenery and emerge on the banks of the Haast River, where across the way you can view the Roaring Billy Waterfall. This waterfall cascades down a forested hill and down into the river, while the actual fall is across the river, the sight is still impressive, especially against the backdrop of the surrounding forest. Don’t forget to bring your bug repellent, as the flies can be bountiful and buzzing!
