The Royal Camel Farm, founded by the late royal Sheikh Mohammed Bin Salman Al Khalifa, serves as a hobby farm where camels are not raised for racing or meat production. The farm houses hundreds of camels, all owned by the royal family, creating a remarkable sight to behold. Open to the public until sunset every day, visitors are welcome to explore the farm, observe the camels, and have conversations with the friendly farmers. There may be opportunities to feed or even ride the camels, with a small fee that can be negotiated with the farm’s workers. With over 500 of the majestic creatures residing in the farm, have your cameras ready to capture memorable moments. In ancient times, camels served as the primary mode of transportation in the region, carrying goods across the desert to marketplaces.
