Sweden
One of Sweden’s oldest and most successful motor companies boasts a museum full of vintage and modern vehicles in mint condition.
The Scania Museum in Södertälje is dedicated to the history of Scania, an iconic Swedish manufacturer of heavy trucks, buses, and engines renowned for its innovation in the field of transportation. The museum showcases the evolution of Scania's products, technologies, and designs, with exhibits ranging from vintage trucks, buses and the first mass-produced Swedish private car from 1903, to modern-day commercial vehicles. The museum also features exhibits on the company's engineering and manufacturing processes, as well as its commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. You can take guided tours of the museum or take the reins and explore on your own. A cafe and gift shop on-site provide the perfect post-museum cappuccino refreshment. The Scania Museum is open Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:45PM. Photo by Herranderssvensson (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Herranderssvensson) under CC BY-SA 3.0
