Sea Caves

On an island famous for its coast an beaches, the Ayia Napa Sea Caves still manage to stand out. Over the centuries, waves have carved a series of tunnels, rock bridges, and caves out of the rocky coast. According to legend, pirates took advantage of the many hiding places here to store their booty. Walk the clifftops for amazing views, or, if you're a more adventurous sort, head to one of the areas where you can jump into the azure waters below (or you can follow a path down to the water for a dip). If you happen to be visiting at low tide, you can even descend to the base of the cliffs to see some of the caves that are normally hidden under water up close.
