Like many of South Island’s vineyards Seifried Estate began as a personal dream which, through hard work and dedication, blossomed into the quality winery that it is today. With an emphasis on sustainability and conservation, the Seifried Estate has close to 50 years of wine making experience, and all kept within the family. New Zealand’s sunshine capital, the Nelson region, is one of the finest areas for producing the finest wines. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are happy to offer wine tastings and answer any questions about the products available, including the viticulture involved in the process. It is a family friendly location and children are welcome; an outdoor playground is available to entertain them while you sample the wines on offer. Alcohol-free grape juice is also available for those who prefer something a little softer.
