One of Bali’s natural wonders, several ribbons of water cascade 80 meters into a lush valley.
Sekumpul Waterfall’s name is a bit misleading - it’s not just one cascade, but six to seven separate falls, fed by two streams which all plunge off the same cliff into a bamboo forested valley. Travellers have two options to enjoy the falls. The easiest is a trek down to purpose-built gazebos where you can admire the 80 meter falls and the stunning surrounding from afar. For those with more time and stamina, you can also hike down to the base of the falls, but this can be steep, slippery, and wet. There are also several local stands near the start of the path offering guided tours if you’re not comfortable with hiking through the jungle by yourself.
