Located in the middle of nowhere, this white sand beach and blue lagoon is a heavenly destination for snorkelers and sun-seekers.
Sharm El Luli lies about halfway between Marsa Alam town and Berenice in the Wadi el Gemal National Park. This long stretch of white sand (with a few rocky outcrops) gradually leads out to the sea, making it perfect for wading. Once you get far enough away from shore, the sandy bottom gives way to a vibrant reef, filled with a colorful cast of fish and corals. Everyone’s favourite residents are the endangered hawksbill sea turtles, which come to feed on the corals, and the green sea turtles that graze on the rolling sea-grass meadow in the lagoon.
