About

Master silversmith Oļegs Auzers has had his works presented to some of the most important people in the world, including U.S. President George Bush, British Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Pope Benedict XVI. Adjoined to his studio, the Silver museum showcases his meticulously crafted work, from fine jewellery to large sculptures. The piece-de-resistance is the “Silver Palace 3001”, a whimsical fairytale castle made of over thirty kilograms of silver. Not only is it the largest piece of silver artwork in the Baltics, its fine details showcase the artists talent. Along with seeing the sparkling museum pieces, visitors can also join a guided tour to learn about the the crafting techniques, secrets of the trade, and the history behind each piece on display.
