About

Nestled on the northeastern edge of St. George’s Island, Bermuda's historic Fort St. Catherine offers an immersive journey through time that beckons visitors to explore its storied past and breathtaking ocean vistas. As you cross the drawbridge and step into the fort's embrace, you'll be transported to the island's rich history. Inside the well-preserved walls, artifacts and exhibits offer a glimpse into 17th-century island life. The fort's tunnels, ramparts, and towers hold secrets waiting to be uncovered, inviting adventurous souls to embark on an exploration of its hidden corners. Wander through the main exhibition area, where replicas of the Crown Jewels and period weapons stand side by side with models showcasing the fort's evolution over centuries. Descend into the depths to witness the rooms where munitions were stored and marvel at the engineering of lifts used to transport cartridges to the gun floor. Explore the soldier's living quarters, the kitchen, and mess hall in immersive mock-ups. Visitors are welcomed daily from June 3rd to August 26th, between 10AM and 4PM. Admission rates are $7 for adults and $3 for children aged 5-15, while the youngest explorers under 5 enjoy free entry.
