Nestled against the backdrop of an earthen yellow sand beach, the captivating Al Fahad Sunken Ship offers an incredible spectacle, especially during sunset. Situated approximately 70 kilometers south of Jeddah, this coastline gem beckons beach enthusiasts and adventurers alike. Its appeal extends beyond its shipwreck allure – the beach itself boasts a long stretch of pristine sand, inviting visitors to bask in its beauty and swim in the azure waters of the Red Sea. The history-rich vessel, stands majestically grounded amidst the waves, offering an awe-inspiring sight as it leans at a precarious angle. Its origins trace back to 1966 when it was constructed by I.C.H. Holland. After changing hands and names over the decades, the ship eventually found its final resting place on the reefs just short of its intended stopover point at Jeddah Islamic Seaport.
