Ta' Qali National Park once served as a military aerodrome and RAF station during World War II, and has since undergone a huge transformation into a recreational space enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. Former military huts and buildings have been repurpsed as workshops for Maltese artisans in the Ta' Qali National Park is the Crafts Village, offering an array of traditional and contemporary handmade products. The park is also home to the Malta Aviation Museum, which displays a collection of aircraft related to Malta's aviation history. This museum provides a fascinating glimpse into the country's aerial heritage.
