Other notable attractions include the Stari Grad Fortress, Sarena Mosque, and the city’s historic center. Travnik is known as the most oriental town in Bosnia. The main mosque, Sarena Mosque, is a sight to behold with its beautifully painted walls. The majestic 15th century Stari Grad Fortress is one the best preserved medieval fortified buildings in Bosnia. It provides a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains.
