Costa Rica

Veragua Rainforest

With the world's largest nocturnal frog exhibit, hiking trails, and even a sky tram, this park is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Costa Rica's rainforest.

About

Covering 1300-hectares near the Caribbean coast, the Veragua Rainforest Research & Adventure Park serves as a private buffer zone for the La Amistad International Park (“Friendship International Park”), which is shared by Costa Rica and Panamá. Even in a country famous for its rainforests, Veragua stands out. On a guided tour, you'll learn about Costa Rica's amazing biodiversity as you take a sky tram and hike the trails. And you'll also have the opportunity to see Costa Rica's wildlife up close. Hummingbird and butterfly gardens let you see these delicate creatures up close, and the indoor frog exhibit is one of the best in the world!
