Lose yourself in the lore of 8th to 11th century Estonian Vikings in the Viking Village, a site filled with recreational activities to immerse yourself in a captivating world. Located by the Pirita River, the founders established the village according to the historical records that show its usefulness as a buttress to protect Vikings from raiders over 1,000 years ago. Ancient treasure including striking Viking-era coins and sacrificial stones have been uncovered in the area. Now, it offers a myriad of thrilling activities and attractions, including masterclasses on the use of ancient weapons, Viking dance classes, rope charm braiding, ax-throwing and treasure hunts. Wander through the scenic surrounds and hike to the Blue Springs of Saula for a rejuvenating bath, just 15-minutes outside of the village.
