This picturesque twin waterfall is reached via a pleasant walk through lush forest.
Wentworth Valley falls is a picturesque two-tiered waterfall with back-to-back, 20-meter drops that stand as the cherry on top of a pleasant nature walk. The 3km hike to reach the falls will bring you through lush, regenerating forest beside a streaming river, with two bridge crossings, so you don’t have to worry about wet feet. Along with seeing local flora and fauna while walking through the precious kauri forest, you’ll also pass two abandoned gold mines along the way.
