"I cannot speak highly enough of Patrik, our Daytrip driver from Krakow to Budapest. From start to finish, Patrik went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe, smooth, and pleasant journey. His professionalism and thoughtfulness were evident even before the trip began. To ensure he would be well-rested for our journey, Patrik drove through the night from Budapest to Krakow, staying in Krakow at his own expense. This was no small feat, considering the journey took him at least 6.5 hours and was undertaken in challenging weather conditions, including rain, thick fog, and snow.
Our itinerary included a 45-minute stopover at Vlkolínec in Slovakia, a remote and mountainous area. The poor weather made the ascent difficult, but Patrik remained steady and composed throughout. His patience and skill as a driver were commendable. Along the way, my children felt unwell and needed to stop for snacks. Patrik was incredibly understanding, accommodating our needs without the slightest hint of frustration.
I also noted his careful driving, particularly amidst poor visibility and heavy traffic. Despite being cut off by several vehicles, Patrik stayed calm and focused, prioritizing safety over speed. Even though we were running behind schedule—partly due to delays at breakfast and my mistakenly providing the wrong address for our drop-off—Patrik remained cheerful, never once complaining. He even went out of his way to help with our luggage, ensuring it was carried all the way to the hotel check-in at both ends of the trip.
Patrik’s professionalism, patience, and kindness truly set him apart. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of a reliable driver, and I would not hesitate to contact him again if I return to Budapest. "We had a wonderful trip from Krakow to Budapest through Slovakia. – out driver, Kacper, was excellent – we very much enjoyed his knowledge of the territory and a good bit of the history. Lots of good humor as well. The drive was not easy due to heavy rain, but he handled the car very well. He also helped us bring our luggage (including golf clubs) up to the third story AIRBNB we rented in Budapest. He picked us up precisely on time and was willing to accommodate our requests during the trip. We stopped at the Orava Castle and took a tour for a couple of hours along the way.
