Premium beach clubs at Psarrou charge for sunbed reservations, and these fees can be significant, particularly during peak summer months. Some clubs require a minimum spend on food and drinks. That said, access to the public beach areas at Psarrou is free, and you can bring your own towel. If you prefer, the more affordable tavernas nearby are a great alternative to beach club dining.
Both beaches are conveniently located on the southern coast of the island, very close to Mykonos Town. Ornos Beach is about 2 miles (3 km) from the center, a quick 5- to 10-minute drive. Psarrou Beach is just around the headland, also roughly 2 to 3 miles (3 to 5 km) from town. Your private driver will take you between both stops comfortably without any hassle.
After sunset, Ornos takes on a livelier atmosphere, with beachfront venues hosting live music and casual evening dining.
