Kravica Falls is about 25 miles (40 km) south of Mostar, with the drive taking roughly 50 minutes. Pocitelj sits about 18 miles (29 km) south of Mostar, around 30 minutes away. The two destinations form a natural loop, making this day trip an efficient way to experience both Herzegovina's most beautiful waterfall and one of its most photogenic Ottoman villages.
Pocitelj's steep cobbled ascent and uneven steps make it challenging for travelers with limited mobility or strollers. Reaching the fortress tower at the summit requires a strenuous climb, but lower sections of the village can be enjoyed by those who prefer a shorter visit. Modest dress is required throughout because Pocitelj is an active Muslim community. Sturdy footwear is absolutely essential.
