Nin
Nin
The picture-perfect town of Nin was established 3,000 years ago. First an important trade center, the town developed to become the seat of Croatia's first bishopric and the seat of the Princes of Dalmatia. In the 9th century, Gregory of Nin began holding services in Croatian, in opposition to the Pope's required Latin, which was a major milestone for Croatian language and culture. The bishop is memorialized by statues in Nin and Split. On both, his big toe is polished gold because, it's said, if you rub it and make a wish, your wish will come true! Be sure to visit the remains of the Roman temple, St. Cross Church (the smallest cathedral in the world), St. Jakov Church, and St. Anselmo Cathedral. Additionally, Nin is well-known for its therapeutic mud which has been used for health purposes for many years.

Pag
In recent years, the development of the island's most popular Northern waterfront town Novalja, has brought in tourists from all over the world to revel in Spring Break and other opportunities for fun. But Pag has more to offer than no rest and non stop partying on the boardwalk. In the South there are plenty of chances to sample some of Pag’s cheese, visit the Simuni Camping villages, and check out Pag's beautiful mountain ridges. Matching the history of many other Croatia towns, Pag was also under the long time rule of the Venetians. In turn, be sure to visit the Basilica of the Assumption of Mary and seek out the famous lacework in the town of Pag.
