How do day trips with Daytrip work?

Day trips offer travelers private round-trip transportation to popular sightseeing locations. One of our professional drivers will pick you up in a luxurious, climate-controlled car, take you to the site of interest, and wait for you while you explore before driving you back to your hotel.

Will I have to wait around for the driver to return?

Your Daytrip driver will wait for you nearby for the duration of your exploration, meaning you’ll never have to wait for your return trip transportation to arrive. Your comfort and convenience are our top priorities, and we aim to close out your day trip with a return on your schedule.

Can I customize the pickup and drop-off times?

Yes! You’re free to choose the pickup and drop-off times that work best for you. However, the time spent at the destination is fixed and cannot be changed.

Are entrance tickets and tours included in the price?

The price of a day trip does not include any entrance tickets, guided tours, or meals you may partake in at your destination. The price covers round-trip transportation in a luxury vehicle with a professional driver who can provide local insights en route.

How long will I have to explore?

Each sightseeing stop has a recommended duration that includes plenty of time to explore. However, it is possible to customize the time spent at each sightseeing stop at a later stage in the booking process to best fit your unique schedule.

If my plans change, is the booking flexible?

Day trip bookings can be canceled up to 24 hours before your trip for a full refund, no strings attached. While the destination and stops are predetermined, it is possible to change your pick-up point, whether it is at your hotel or some other location within the city.

Can I take a large group?

Yes! Day trips are fully customizable to suit the needs of any private group. From solo travelers to large families with children and even corporate groups, we are ready to create a bespoke itinerary that accommodates parties of all sizes. The price is dependent on the number of vehicles required to serve your group, and we also provide child seats.

Will my driver speak English?

Your friendly, professional, local driver will speak English. Our drivers are happy to provide any local insight they can on the way to your destination and may be able to answer questions and provide tips for the best possible experience on your day trip.

Can I request children’s car seats for the journey?

Yes, we provide car seats for children of all ages, which meet stringent safety standards and local legal requirements. You can even bring your own car seat. We also have handicapped-accessible vehicles available for a wide range of needs for our passengers. When booking your day trip, please specify the accommodations you will need.

Can I pay securely online?

Yes, Daytrip offers flexible payment options. We accept Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Ali Pay. You also can pay securely online with any major credit card, such as Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

Booking your day trip is as easy as our one-way and return trips! On the landing page of the day trip you’d like to take, simply select the date, pick up time, and how many adults and children will be on the trip. On the second page, you’ll fill in personal details, including any special requests, disability accommodations, and children’s car seats you may need. We are flexible too! You can change your exact pick-up location (hotel address, etc) up to 24 hours before your day trip.

Notre chauffeur, Ibrahim, était formidable. Il nous a conduits de l’aéroport d’Amman à Petra. Notre vol est arrivé avec une heure d’avance et il nous attendait déjà à la sortie de l’aéroport. Il était serviable, professionnel et très sympathique. Nous serions ravis d’avoir à nouveau Ibrahim comme chauffeur et nous le recommandons vivement.

Expérience incroyable! Je recommande vivement!

Je suis vraiment très heureuse d’être tombée sur ce site pour réserver deux transferts privés pendant ma visite à Lima, au Pérou. Il s’agissait de deux trajets aller simple d’environ trois heures chacun. La communication a été excellente dès que tout a été réservé par e-mail, puis j’ai téléchargé leur application. J’ai rencontré quelques problèmes avec l’application et le service client a été formidable pour m’aider à les résoudre. Honnêtement, le service client était impressionnant et m’a donné le sentiment d’avoir fait le bon choix. Les deux chauffeurs étaient parfaitement à l’heure, aucun problème ! Je ne peux pas dire assez de bien du service et de la simplicité de tout organiser lorsqu’on voyage aussi loin. Bravo à l’équipe Daytrip ! Je recommande vivement.

Découverte de la Toscane

Nous avons eu le même chauffeur pendant notre voyage de deux jours en Toscane. J’ai pu créer mon propre itinéraire afin d’aller où nous voulions et voir ce que nous voulions. Marco était fantastique ! Il nous ouvrait les portes et veillait à ce que ma mère puisse entrer et sortir de la voiture facilement. Il avait de l’eau dans la voiture pour nous. Il est arrivé en avance pour nous récupérer les deux jours et nous a déposés aussi près que possible des villes. Il nous a indiqué par où entrer dans les villes, puis m’a envoyé sa position pour que nous sachions comment le retrouver après avoir parcouru les rues. Je suis tellement heureuse d’avoir décidé de prendre un chauffeur pour nous faire découvrir la Toscane. Cela nous a enlevé toute l’inquiétude et l’angoisse de conduire dans une région que je ne connaissais pas et où je ne savais pas où me garer. De l’argent très bien dépensé!

Excellente option de transfert.

C’était un voyage fantastique.

Nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits de la qualité du service que nous avons reçu de Day Trip. Nous avons effectué deux trajets avec Day Trip : le 31 août d’Athènes à Lefkada et le 7 septembre de Lefkada à Athènes. Les deux trajets comprenaient des arrêts sur des sites pittoresques en Grèce. Les deux chauffeurs étaient excellents et accommodants. Toutefois, nous aimerions particulièrement remercier Panos Peppas, qui a été notre chauffeur de Lefkada à Athènes. Panos a été incroyablement gentil et agréable, et a offert un service client exceptionnel, qui comprenait la gestion de tous nos bagages, la fourniture d’eaux fraîches tout au long du voyage, de barres protéinées, de documents imprimés sur le canal de Corinthe (l’un des arrêts pittoresques), la recherche et la transmission des informations sur le terminal et la porte de notre vol de retour, ainsi que la remise d’une recette de tzatziki.

La meilleure société de transport partout

Excellente expérience de voyage

Nous avons voyagé de Nuremberg à Munich dans une belle Audi. Le chauffeur est venu nous chercher à notre hôtel exactement à l’heure demandée. Il nous a conduits à Munich avec beaucoup d’avance pour notre prochaine visite. Le chauffeur a veillé à ce que nous soyons à l’aise.

Transport sûr et à prix raisonnable

Gonzalo de Daytrip était notre chauffeur et il était absolument incroyable. Il a tout fait pour nous retrouver car notre service mobile ne fonctionnait pas très bien. Il a attendu patiemment notre arrivée dans le hall afin de nous conduire du Tulum Dreams Resort à notre autre hôtel à Cancún, à une heure et demie de route près de l’aéroport, avant notre vol de retour. Il était poli, respectueux et aimable. Il s’est assuré que nous étions à l’aise pendant tout le trajet. Rapide et efficace. Je recommande cette entreprise, car trouver un trajet aller simple de Tulum à Cancún n’est ni facile ni bon marché, et cette entreprise offre un excellent service à un bon prix. Je les réutiliserai sans aucun doute lorsque je serai dans la région de Cancún/Tulum. Merci, DayTrip et Gonzalo.

Daytrip ne déçoit jamais

Marianna est venue nous chercher pour nous conduire de Héraklion à La Canée. Le temps était terrible et, à cause de cela, Marianna est arrivée avec quelques minutes de retard. Elle m’a contacté pour m’en informer. Marianna vit à La Canée et a rendu notre trajet très intéressant en nous parlant des choses locales à faire et à voir là-bas. Marianna conduit prudemment, et nous nous sommes tous sentis à l’aise avec sa vitesse et sa conduite sous une pluie battante. C’est une personne charmante qui parle couramment anglais. Nous recommandons vivement Daytrip, et si vous êtes à Héraklion ou à La Canée, assurez-vous de demander Marianna.

Yes, swimming at Big Rock Falls is one of the main attractions. The 150-foot cascade pours into a deep, clear pool surrounded by granite boulders, perfect for cooling off after the hike down. Pack swimwear, water shoes, and a quick-dry towel. Currents can be strong after heavy rain, so check conditions on arrival before entering the water.

A guide is not required to enter Big Rock Falls or to hike the marked trails at Mayflower Bocawina. However, hiring a local guide adds context on Maya history, plant medicine, and wildlife spotting, and is mandatory for adventure activities like waterfall rappelling and ziplining inside the park. Park rangers at Mayflower can confirm trail conditions when you arrive.

Big Rock Falls sits roughly 80 miles (130 km) southwest of Belize City, with a one-way drive of about 2 hours and 45 minutes through the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Road conditions can be rough near the falls, so a comfortable vehicle and an experienced driver make the journey much smoother and safer for travelers.

The hike is short but moderately challenging, with a steep path of sloped rock and wooden stairs leading down to the falls. Active older children typically manage well with adult supervision, but it is not ideal for very young kids, strollers, or anyone with mobility limitations. Take it slowly, hold hands on the descent, and rest at the pool before the climb back up.

Mayflower Bocawina is a haven for active travelers. You can hike the Bocawina Falls Trail or the more challenging Antelope Falls Trail, swim in natural pools, try ziplining, or rappel down a waterfall. The park is also rich in wildlife, with chances to spot howler monkeys, jaguars, tapirs, and tropical birds. Independent operators run the adventure activities directly inside the park.

Pack sturdy hiking shoes with good grip since trails are slippery and rocky, plus swimwear, a quick-dry towel, sun protection, and strong insect repellent. Bring at least two liters of water per person, plenty of snacks, a small daypack, and a waterproof phone case. A change of clothes for the ride back is helpful after swimming under the falls.

The dry season from late November through April is the most comfortable time to visit, with sunny weather, lower humidity, and easier trail conditions. Waterfalls are most powerful right after the rainy season ends, around December and January. Visiting midweek and arriving early in the morning helps you avoid crowds and gives you cooler hiking weather before the afternoon heat sets in.
