The Casibari Rock Formations are typically free to visit, with no entrance gate or ticket required. However, Conchi Natural Pool sits inside Arikok National Park, which charges an entrance fee of around 25 USD per adult. Entrance fees are not included in the day trip price and should be planned for separately.
The Casibari Rock Formations sit about 7 miles (11 km) from Oranjestad, with a driving time of around 20 minutes. From there, reaching Conchi Natural Pool inside Arikok National Park takes another 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the route used. The full round trip including both stops takes about 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Conchi Natural Pool is generally safe for swimming when the sea is calm, since the volcanic rock barrier shelters the pool from open ocean waves. Conditions can change quickly, so always check with park staff and avoid swimming during rough seas. Water shoes are highly recommended on the slippery rocks surrounding the pool.

Most visitors choose a guided 4x4 tour from the park's visitor center, since the unpaved access road is too rough for standard cars. The hike takes at least 45 minutes each way through challenging desert heat.
Pack water shoes for the slippery rocks at Conchi Pool, swimwear, a quick-dry towel, and sunscreen. Sturdy walking shoes help with the boulder climbs at Casibari. Bring at least two liters of water per person, snacks, a hat, and sunglasses. A waterproof phone case or dry bag protects electronics during the swim portion.
Visit Conchi Natural Pool early in the day, ideally before 11 a.m., to avoid both the strongest sun and the peak crowds from afternoon Jeep tours. Calm sea conditions during morning hours also tend to make the pool safer for swimming. Aruba's dry climate keeps conditions mostly stable year-round, though winds are stronger from January to March.
