From Athens to Kalambaka by bus

Only one bus line—KTEL Trikala—offers trips from Athens to Kalambaka. In certain seasons, the trips are daily, but a bus only leaves once every four hours, so check the timetables ahead of schedule. Tickets cost between $25 and $50.

“Marianna nos recogió para llevarnos de Heraclión a Chania. El clima era terrible y, debido a esto, Marianna llegó unos minutos tarde. Me contactó para avisarme. Marianna vive en Chania y hizo que nuestro viaje fuera muy interesante al contarnos sobre cosas locales para hacer y ver en Chania. Una gran manera de viajar y ver algunos lugares en el camino

“No sabíamos qué esperar de este viaje y reservamos desde Australia. Inicialmente buscábamos una forma fácil de viajar de Granada a Málaga. Decidimos no perder la oportunidad de ver algo más en nuestro camino. Miguel ciertamente superó nuestras expectativas. Su inglés era excelente (lamentablemente hablamos muy poco español), y fue muy amable y servicial. Disfrutamos mucho escuchando sobre las regiones por las que pasamos y también discutiendo algunas de las costumbres locales.
