About Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is the busiest city in the region, the mountainous capital of Northern Thailand. ### Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by bus Direct buses run hourly between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. The bus ride also takes almost four hours and tickets cost $7-11 on average. Buses set off from the main bus station in Chiang Rai and arrive again at the main station in Chiang Mai. The main bus service is Greenbus Thailand, which has coaches with air conditioning and toilets. Check their website for the timetable. Keep in mind that the buses follow a different route than a typical car ride and that they often fill up and sell out. ### Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by private car service Daytrip's private car service is the most comfortable and flexible way to get from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai. When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai

The best time to get from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai is between October and April when the weather is cool and pleasant. These months are perfect for exploring the city and its natural surroundings, with November to February being particularly favorable. The Loi Krathong festivities in November and the Chiang Mai Flower Festival in February are both worth planning trips around. Naturally, this period marks the peak season, but northern Thailand doesn't get quite as many tourists as the south.

“Quedamos extremadamente satisfechos con la calidad del servicio que recibimos de Day Trip. Tuvimos dos viajes con Day Trip el 31 de agosto de Atenas a Lefkada y el 7 de septiembre de Lefkada de regreso a Atenas. Ambos viajes incluyeron paradas en lugares pintorescos de Grecia. Ambos conductores fueron excelentes y complacientes. Sin embargo, nos gustaría especialmente reconocer a Panos Peppas, quien fue nuestro conductor de Lefkada a Atenas. Transporte seguro y a precio razonable

“Gonzalo de Daytrip fue nuestro conductor y fue absolutamente increíble. Hizo todo lo posible por localizarnos, ya que no teníamos buena señal en nuestros teléfonos. Esperó pacientemente nuestra llegada al vestíbulo para llevarnos desde el Tulum Dreams Resort a nuestro otro hotel en Cancún, a una hora y media de distancia, cerca del aeropuerto, antes de nuestro vuelo de regreso a casa. Fue educado, respetuoso y amable. Se aseguró de que estuviéramos cómodos durante todo el trayecto. Rápido y directo. Recomiendo esta empresa, ya que encontrar un transporte solo de ida de Tulum a Cancún no es fácil ni barato, y esta empresa ofrece un excelente servicio a un gran precio. Daytrip nunca decepciona

“Marianna nos recogió para llevarnos de Heraclión a Chania. El clima era terrible y, debido a esto, Marianna llegó unos minutos tarde. Me contactó para avisarme. Marianna vive en Chania y hizo que nuestro viaje fuera muy interesante al contarnos sobre cosas locales para hacer y ver en Chania. Marianna es una conductora segura y todos nos sentimos cómodos con la velocidad a la que conducía y lo bien que manejó bajo la fuerte lluvia. Es una persona encantadora y habla inglés con fluidez. Una gran manera de viajar y ver algunos lugares en el camino

“No sabíamos qué esperar de este viaje y reservamos desde Australia. Inicialmente buscábamos una forma fácil de viajar de Granada a Málaga. Decidimos no perder la oportunidad de ver algo más en nuestro camino. Miguel ciertamente superó nuestras expectativas. Su inglés era excelente (lamentablemente hablamos muy poco español), y fue muy amable y servicial. Disfrutamos mucho escuchando sobre las regiones por las que pasamos y también discutiendo algunas de las costumbres locales. Miguel nos llevó a Antequera como estaba planeado y se aseguró de que pudiéramos conseguir fácilmente nuestras entradas para las atracciones sin ninguna prisa. Nos recogieron y dejaron puntualmente y realmente disfrutamos nuestro viaje. Esperamos volver a España y poder usar este servicio nuevamente en algún momento.”

Conductor privado de Daytrip en Tailandia

Anteriormente había utilizado un servicio diferente en Bangkok, pero no operan en el norte de Tailandia. Intenté contactar a un conductor popular de TripAdvisor, pero tardó en responder. Encontré Daytrip (o mydaytrip) a partir de un resultado de búsqueda anunciado. Encontré muchas reseñas excelentes sobre ellos en Europa, pero nada en Tailandia. Parecían nuevos en Tailandia, pero me arriesgué porque ofrecían exactamente lo que quería: un viaje de Chiang Mai a Chiang Rai con paradas opcionales en el camino. No un tour completo... Solo un viaje, pero privado y con paradas. Al principio parecía caro, pero más tarde respondió el conductor popular y costaba más. Nuestro conductor fue Chairit K. Fue amigable, divertido, puntual (temprano) y hablaba perfecto inglés. Como beneficio adicional, es Lanna, así que aprendimos sobre su perspectiva histórica. Condujo un SUV que parecía una mejora (reservamos un sedán). Tanto él como nuestro anterior conductor de grabación dijeron que el precio de Daytrip en realidad es bastante más barato que otros, tal vez porque son nuevos en Tailandia. Creo (pero no estoy seguro) de que el servicio se coordina desde Europa. La comunicación fue por correo electrónico y fue rápida, informativa y precisa. Creo que nuestro conductor original canceló y encontraron un reemplazo. No lo sé porque lo manejaron todo. Me alegra no haber tenido que buscar un reemplazo yo mismo (si hubiera reservado un conductor directamente). Definitivamente recomendaría Daytrip en Tailandia.”

Para el servicio compartido Daytrip Pool, ofrecemos 3 opciones de boleto al reservar: No reembolsable; Flexible con cancelaciones 24 horas antes de la salida; y Super flexible con cancelaciones hasta 15 minutos antes de la salida.
