A wonderful travel experience.

Day Trip was incredible! Our river cruise was to terminate at Deggendorf, Germany but we ended our cruise in Vilshofen, Germany. Our cruise director call Attila, our driver, and he met us at Vilshofen and drove us to Prague. He was on time and the vehicle was immaculate and comfortable. Attila was an excellent driver and provided explanations of the interesting sights along the way to Prague. We also used Day Trip to travel from Prague to Krakow, Poland. Michael was our driver and he was superb. He picked us up on time and delivered us to our hotel in Krakow. His vehicle was excellent and he was extremely personable and well informed on our selected tours. We used Day Trip to travel from Krakow to Budapest, Hungary. We were extremely happy that Attila was our driver for this trip. He drove us through Slovakia and most of the trip was on secondary roads. Attila handled the drive with ease. My wife’s birthday was on this leg of our travels and Attila presented her with a wonderful bottle of Hungarian wine as a gift. We arrived in Budapest on time. I can’t say enough about Day trip, it’s employees, the perfectly timed comfort stops and unique places for lunch. Courteous and Professional

As a party of 5, we reserved our private transfer from Vilshofen, Germany to Prague, Czech Republic. We included a stop at Hluboka Castle. The online booking process was easy. Communications were prompt. Our driver was on-time, professional and courteous. Our stop to Hluboka Castle was a nice break in the drive, too! We arrived at our destination as scheduled. We would use this service again.

Perfect way to travel between cities

We travelled from Vilshofen to Prague after disembarking from a river cruise. The Daytrip team provided the perfect way to travel between these two locations. Our driver Peter arrived punctually for our pick-up at the Vilshofen port and helped us with our luggage. The car was very comfortable with plenty of room. Peter was such a pleasant man and provided us with many interesting facts along the way. He treated us to a drive along a secondary route so we could better enjoy the wonderful scenery between Vilshofen and Prague. We took a detour to Cesky Krumlov where he provided us with a brief, informative tour of the town before giving us time to explore it on our own. His introduction and directions allowed us to more fully enjoy the sights. As promised, we received door to door service to our hotel in Prague for the agreed upon fee. We felt entirely comfortable and safe during the entire day. Prior to our trip, we received e-mails from the company that confirmed our transportation details. A photo of the driver who would be picking us up was also sent to us - a much appreciated gesture. I would highly recommend this company’s service to others. The service was very professional.

Very Pleased with the Service

We needed to get from our Amawaterways river cruise in Vilshofen, Germany, to Prague. Our driver, Jan, was waiting for us when we disembarked. He was professional and friendly, and the car clean and in great shape. We had added an excursion along the way, and Jan gave us plenty of time. The traffic was bad going into Prague, but he was patient and seemed unworried about the extra time he spent getting to our destination. I would be happy to use Daytrip again and recommend it to our friends and family.

Wonderful driver, convenient, safe...

Our driver Petr picked us up promptly in Vilshofen and drove us to Prague. He was friendly, great conversation, took the time to stop for ice cream and he was a safe driver. This was the way to go for our transfer to Prague and we would do it again!! Petr was wonderful!!!

Uneventful drive (which is what you want!) with good conversation

We booked a transfer for 4 people from Prague to Vilshofen with a stop at Cesky Krumlov along the way. Our driver, Lucas S was wonderful. He got us to our destination despite a road closure and we enjoyed our conversation with him along the way. If stopping at CK for lunch, I would recommend more than an hour so that you have time to look around the town and castle too.

Excellent way to do a transfer

We booked a transfer from Vilshofen to Prague at the end of a fantastic Danube River cruise. Our driver, Martin, was prompt and very friendly. His car was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had two stops included on the transfer, Český Krumlov and the Hluboka Castle. Both are very beautiful, but we especially enjoyed Český Krumlov. We had great lunch there at a very good price. We had a leisurely drive and took our time at both stops. Martin was a great source of information. This was a wonderful way to travel. We will definitely use this service again when we get the chance.

Excellent Local transfer service!

We used this service from Vilshofen, Germany after exiting a river cruise. The driver (Andre’) was prompt and friendly and a local. Our transfer was from the river to Prague, and we added a stop/tour in Cesky Krumlov on the way. This was a highlight and so great that our driver lived there and had great local knowledge! He took great care of us, even taking us to a local brewery so we could sample local beer and lunch. He was very patient with our slower walking group, stopped when needed for bathroom/snack breaks etc. He then got us to Prague, pointing out the highlights as we made our way to our hotel. I would use this service without hesitation again, and for my clients. The website was very user friendly and so easy to add tours to your transfer, brilliant! And lastly, what a savings since this was a one-way transfer charge, and not an expensive round trip transfer where you pay the minute the car leaves the garage. Great service!

For the Daytrip Pool shared shuttle, we offer 3 ticket options when booking: Non-refundable, Flexible with cancellations 24 hours before departure, and Super-flexible with cancellations up to 15 minutes before departure.

Simply choose your origin and destination via our homepage and enter your departure date and time. Browse and add sightseeing stops along the way by following the booking instructions provided on-screen. Select “One Way” or “Return” to change the type of trip you need. It’s a simple, easy, and fun way to book your next adventure! And if you don’t see your desired route on our website, you can request a custom trip. You can even book without knowing your exact pick-up or drop-off address - we let you add these later!

Each passenger is allowed one large bag (29" x 21" x 11" / 74 x 53 x 28 cm) and one small bag (22" x 14" x 9" / 56 x 36 x 23 cm). Luxury sedans can only accommodate 2 large bags. We always send the vehicle that is the best fit for you and your luggage, so make sure to select the actual amount of luggage you are traveling with when booking. If you have oversized luggage, or are unsure if your luggage will fit, contact us.

Everywhere except the USA, drivers will supply appropriate child seats (just let us know during booking). In the USA, certain states require you to supply your own child seats.
